This Thursday predicted rain
but instead I headed through a very misty Upper East Side
to the Society of Illustrators.

The incredible Bil Donovan was doing a special sketch night there
demonstrating Selectivity and seeing the figure in just a few shapes.

It was a fun night,
three gorgeous models wore an array of gowns and outfits.
Bil made his rounds, the space was packed with all sorts of folks.
Among them were the lovely Karen Santry and Janice Salek,
they were my amazing instructors, as was Bil Donovan.

They taught me so much of what I know today.
Never stop learning, be excited.
